There were 4 people who worked together to create Iron Man. The writer editor was Stan Lee, the scripter is Larry Lieber, and the design artist are Don Heck and Jack Kirby. He created Iron Man for his first appearance in the comic books in 1963. He was such a hit the a cartoon series in 1966.

Stan Lee created Iron Man in the comics then he also created him in the TV series. He also made appearances in the Iron Man movies mostly playing as himself. Stan also helped create the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, and the X-men.

Larry Lieber is the editor writer for the comics and helped with Stan Lee create the TV series. This was the biggest super hero he helped create.

Don Heck was the design artist for the comic book, he designed the armor that Iron Man would wear. This was the only super hero he created.

Jack Kirby was the other design artist for the comic. This was not his only work though, he also had a part in Captain America, Thor, the Hulk and a few more characters.
