Little Red Riding Hood

There has been many versions told about the tale we call "Little Red Riding Hood".
This tale has been around since 1697. In originally came from Italy
called "La finta nonna" (The False Grandmother).
It was told by French peasants in the 14th century. The earliest known printed version
though was known as Le Petit Chaperon Rouge.
It was written by Charles Perrault. It wasn't tell 1729 when it first appeared in English.

Why Little Red Riding Hood?

Little Red Riding Hood has interested me because
I've known this tale since I was a little girl.
I was interested in finding out where this story began.
This tale was my favorite when I was a child.
I also liked the movies that have been based of this fairy tale.
